DAY TRIPS AND CHARTERS TO THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
Foxy's on Jost van Dyke To get into the BVI (and back into the U.S.), you must have a valid passport. There is a $20 BVI customs charge (payable in cash) for all trips. There are several options for travel to the British Virgin Islands, our beautiful nearby neighbor. Our favorite way to enjoy these islands is by sailboat, generally to Jost van Dyke. For one to six guests, we recommend the Wayward Sailor, voted best Day Sail, Best Charter and Best VI Activity in 2005 and 2006! See the Sailing page for more information on this great trip!
*Jost Van Dyke is a foreign
country and requires For more than six guests, we recommend Breath. Contact us for details on sailing with St. John's "Tall Ship". However, if you'd like to go further (to the Baths at Virgin Gorda) or to Norman Island (home of the Caves), you'll need to go by power boat. We recommend the New Horizons charter that visits four beautiful islands.
New Horizons 44' scarab style power boat, 8-4pm; the Baths on Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, Marina Cay for a delightful lunch, Guana Island for remote and private snorkeling, the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost van Dyke for an afternoon stop $135 plus lunch includes open bar all day, continental breakfast, snacks From the moment you board the NEW HORIZONS II you receive "FIRST CLASS" treatment and comfort. The Captain and crew take special interest in making this luxury yacht yours for the day. Continental Breakfast is served and a Premium Bar of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is open all day. Snacks are available all day and the afternoon special is the famous Shrimp Cocktail!
